To celebrate the Month of Self-Love, we quizzed Victoria Hearn on her version of self-love and what it really means to her. She gives us all the gossip on how to feel like a sass queen and shares some super helpful tips to guide you on your self-love journey. Check out her dream girl gang too, you're all totally invited.

How do you practice self-love?

I think the main thing I really try to do on a daily basis is remember that I am my own person and that my journey will never be the same as anyone else's - that helps me to keep focused on myself and my own achievements rather than comparing myself to others.

What does self-love mean to you?

To me, self love means the ability to be happy in yourself as a person, to feel content in what you are doing and where you are heading and also to make sure that you do not allow others to dictate what you want to do with your life

Fave outfit to feel like a sass queen in?

I'm really loving a shirt dress and knee high boot combo at the moment with a long waterfall coat of some kind, nude tones are my particular fave I would say!

Fave thing you love about yourself?

I'd probably say the thing I like most about myself is that I know my worth (only over recent years have I learnt this) when it comes to friendships and relationships and I no longer allow negative or nasty people the ability to have an impact on me.

Advice to anyone struggling with self-love?

You have to remember that before someone else can love you, you have to learn to love yourself. Take time each week or month to think about some things you have done that you know have had a positive outcome, give yourself credit for the little things and never let other people influence how you feel/act as no matter what you do there is always someone who will have something to say in a negative way so really, don't forget that the only people's opinions you should care about is your own and those closest to you who should be supporting you anyway!

How often do you take time out for yourself?

Daily! Nothing beats an hour of chill time in a coffee shop or a long soak in the bath with a good book where you can think and get your head straight! I really think it's so important to give yourself some quiet time!

Where is your go-to place to feel 10x better?

Honestly, anytime I'm feeling a bit low I'll head straight to Last Minute and look for a new adventure, visiting new places in the world is 100% my favourite thing to do and no matter where it is, it always makes me feel better!

Favourite quote?

"Don't be so rushed to settle down that you end up settling instead"

Fave accounts to follow on Instagram for positive vibes?

Janni Deler, Angelica Blick, Jon Olsonn (All of whom are Swedish bloggers and just absolute GOALS!)

Who would be in your ultimate girl gang?

Probably Tash Oakley and Devin Brugman because they are both just amazing and I love how supportive they are of one another in life and business! Such a powerful duo/friendship!

What would be your ideal Galentine's Day?

Getting all the girls round to my flat, wine, pizza, and chick flick movies - sounds simple but nothing beats good company, good food and good wine! Doesn't need to be anything overly fancy in my opinion!

Take Victoria's advice this V-Day and get your girls round for a night of self-care to spread good vibes and love. It's an order from us, babes!
